The Responsible Travel campaign, which could run for several years, is backed up with a green Responsible Travel wristband, inscribed with the words ‘Travel 2Explore - Travel 2Live - Travel 2Respect - Travel 4Peace’. Travellers wearing the green wristband balance their desire to explore the world with respect for the cultural and natural heritage of local communities, and express their belief that responsible travel habits are a force for learning, cultural understanding and peace.

The World Youth Student & Educational Travel Confederation MissionThe World Youth Student & Educational Travel Confederation is a dynamic, professionally managed 500+ member not-for-profit organisation representing the youth & student travel and international educational community. The World Youth Student & Educational Travel Confederation was formed in 2006 by the Federation of International Youth Travel Organisations (FIYTO) and the International Student Travel Confederation (ISTC). The Confederation’s mission is “to increase international understanding through the promotion of travel and educational opportunities for students and youth”.
